30yrs) and their Whanau along their recovery, located within the central Auckland area. EI is a specialist service providing assessment and treatment for adolescents and young adults presenting with a first episode psychosis.
As a member of this professional, dedicated EI Service, you’ll be continually stimulated and challenged as you work with adolescents and young adults with a first episode of psychosis or at risk mental state in collaboration with their families and communities of belonging. You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach having previously worked within a CAMHS or Adult MH sector. The team has a strong emphasis on flexibility, teamwork, collaboration and on-going professional development. Demonstrate interest in, or past experience working alongside people with psychosis and /or working with youth would be an advantage. We also have a significant number of male service users so we welcome applicants who have demonstrated ability to work effectively with this group.
We welcome applications from experienced registered Mental Health Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Nurses, who have worked in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. Experience within early psychosis intervention is highly desirable.

This is a permanent, fulltime role working 40 hours Monday to Friday. As this is a community role, a full and clean driver’s license is required.
